The Affinity Publisher Workbook download links are broken.

[…] The workbooks etc for versions 1-2 are just fine if that is what one is using. New Workbooks can be more prominently displayed,. BUT don't get rid of the legacy files as they are important!

Thank you both, Bruce and Felix! And by the way, I had no idea that the settings were under Assistant. Feels kind of wrong, anyway as long as it works, everything is fine!

When you drag a filter layer in Affinity, you keep the left mouse button pressed while you move it through the Layers panel. As you do this, the app shows a small preview that helps you place the filter exactly where you want it. If you want the filter to influence only one layer, drag it onto that layer and hold the button for a moment. The preview shows when it will snap in as a child layer. Once you release the button, the filter applies to that single layer only.

Try setting the Preference to this in the Preferences > Assistant > Add filter layer to selection >> Add filter based on selection.

I may be very slow or whatever, but ... When I add a filter- or adjustment Layer with a Pixel layer selected I want Affinity to add it as a sub layer to the one I have selected, not a Layer at top level. I have searched for the setting in Affinity. Studio, but not been able to find what setting to change. So, if anybody can help me, it would be much appreciated!

OK, let me rephrase that. Do Corel, Krita, and all the other graphics programs have a brush export to .abr?

The official Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher forum by Serif is now in read-only mode and serves only as an archive. But the exchange among users, shared learning, and creative collaboration are too valuable to disappear. This new Affinity Community was created as a living space for questions, ideas, and inspiration. By registering and taking part, you help build an independent, active platform where Affinity users can continue to connect. Every new discussion, shared project, and comment helps others find useful content and keeps the community alive. At the same time, many are waiting with anticipation for Serif’s announcement “Creative Freedom is coming.” What it will bring is still uncertain – and that makes it all the more important to have a space where these developments can be followed and discussed together.
