Yes, it is an A4, and the difference is big, not minimal, in that case, i will not complain, since my purpose of the "actual size" use, is to avoid printing constantly to check if the words size is ok. You can check just in the screen.

[…] It is not the saving that was the issue but just going from one open image to another. But as I said, for now, since I updated, it looks much better, even with half a dozen images open.

'Bloberella'... There's going to be a white outline version (which is the MASTER version), but to work on it I needed to change the outline colour to be able to see it... 😆 Two versions too. 1. with a very tight, overlapping kerning and 2., with kerning as shown below... Possibly a version with vertical stripes too...

[…] FWIW A4, like all the other A series page sizes, has a tolerance so they may not actually be exactly 210 × 297 mm. So an A4 cut sheet may be ± 1.5 mm wider or narrower than nominal & ± 2 mm longer tha nominal. But of course that is not enough of a difference to explain what (it seems) the first screenshot shows.

Try saving to your C: drive and see if that improves things. If not, then that's not the problem

Apparently A4 (which is a standard international format, ISO 216). It measures 210 × 297 mm (8" 1/4 x 11" 11/16 or 595 × 842 pts).

The old Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher forum by Serif is now in read-only mode and serves only as an archive. But the exchange among users, shared learning, and creative collaboration are too valuable to disappear. This new Affinity Community was created as a living space for questions, ideas, and inspiration. By registering and taking part, you help build an independent, active platform where Affinity users can continue to connect.
